| Recommone |
| |
Recommone beach looks
on to the gulf of Salerno, and it is situated between Marina del
Cantone and the fiord of Crapolla.
Recommone can be reached in a 2 hours’ walk from Sant’Agata sui
due golfi. From Sant’Agata you have to come on to Via Pigna and
then Via Crapolla. In 15 minutes you will reach a small belvedere,
from where a breath-taking view will open out before your eyes:
Li Galli, the watch-tower of Crapolla, the islets of Isca and Vetara
and the three peaks delimiting Marina del Cantone. |

| From the belvedere a footpath
leading to Recommone begins. This path, marked with a red and white-painted
stripe, though hard now and then, is undoubtedly worth it for the
wonderful panoramic view it offers. |

Just looking on to the pebbly
beach of Recommone there’s one of the most characteristic restaurants
of Massa Lubrense coastline, “La Conca del Sogno” (Dream hollow),
where you can taste dainty fish dishes.
Walking on along the footpath, you can reach Marina del Cantone,
and have a look at the 15th century watch-tower |
